Research Abstract

コホート別、都道府県別のデータを利用して、結婚・出生行動に関する経済理論モデルを用いた分析を行う。出生行動を捉える代表的な経済理論としてBarro and Becker(1989)が存在し、独身時代には自身の収入で生活していた状態から結婚により相手の収入が加わる規模の経済性によって結婚が選択される事を説明する。しかし、我が国において彼らのモデルは当てはまりが悪い事が指摘される。そこで、本研究はこのモデルの検証を行い、問題点を明らかにする。その後、最終的に検討するモデルは、乗り換えモデルと呼ばれるものであり、このモデル推計を足掛かりに、我が国の出生行動を捉えられる理論モデルの構築につなげる。
