Research Abstract

病態理解と共に薬物療法・非薬物療法 が確立している左心不全と異なり、右心不全の病態は未解明で治療法も確立していない。強心薬、 肺血管拡張薬が経験的に使用されるが、予後改善のエビデンスはない。AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) subfamilyに属するsalt-inducible kinases (SIK) の右心不全における役割は未解 明だが、申請者はマウスの予備実験で右心不全心筋におけるSIK3の発現亢進を見出しており、右 心不全におけるSIK3の関与が示唆される。本研究の目的は、右心不全におけるSIKの役割を解明し、 SIKを標的とする右心不全の新規治療法の基盤を確立し、患者の予後改善に役立てることにある。
