Research Abstract
ダム開発に関する先行研究では、開発事業と移転集落との関係に焦点があてられてきたが、事業完了後のダム湖と周辺地域社会との関係に注目した研究は少ない。本研究は、ダム湖を、様々な種類の開発、資源をめぐるアクター間関係、さらには自然環境の動態が、多層的な時空間スケールで「交差する場」として捉える。本研究はアフリカと東南アジアのダム湖を対象として、マルチスケールでの質的・量的な分析を組み合わせ、開発事業による影響の多義性や地域性、その変化を多角的・多層的に解明しようとするものである。これを通じて、開発に伴う負の影響を最小限に抑え、各地の文脈に即した持続可能な開発事業のあり方を提言することを目指す。
