Research Abstract
2025年2月に岩手県大船渡市で発生した大規模林野火災は，山林だけでなく市街地も広範囲に延焼させた，林野・市街地の境界領域（Wildland-Urban Interface, WUI）における大規模火災であり，国内外でWUI火災が頻発する今，本火災の詳細把握は急務である．本研究は，近年国内で発生している他の大規模林野火災とも比較しながら本火災について調査研究し，WUI火災のリスク評価に資するデータ取得に加えて，山林・市街地復興に資する社会科学的見地からの検討までを行うものである．
