In the oral literature of Shin-yo (mythic epics), the three-beat melodic patterns for both refrains and main text phrases show subtle differences depending on the poetic line and narrator.Our new classification method revealed that while individual differences exist in the use of melodic tones and patterns, a considerable commonality was found in the rhythmic patterns that arrange poetic verses within the three beats. This suggests these rhythmic patterns may support the identity of the mythic epics.Additionally, three case studies comparing multiple genres by the same singers indicated that vocal techniques that produce diverse timbres (a characteristic of traditional singing) are used differently depending on the genre.\nConcurrently, we also compiled research literature and organized related
