Research Abstract

1型糖尿病のインスリン注射以外の現在の治療法としては、膵臓の臓器移植やIsletを移植することでβ細胞を補充する方法がある。しかし、ドナー不足が深刻であるため、新たな治療法の開発が望まれている。そこで本研究では、肝細胞からインスリンを産生可能な細胞へと運命転換する方法を確立し、1型糖尿病治療に向けた基盤技術を開発する。
