Research Abstract
共有結合の理解の深化は有機分子の関与する化学現象に対する洞察を得るために極めて重要である。本提案課題は,本来剛直な共有結合を対象に,独自の分子設計を施すことで柔軟な応答性(伸張性/切断性)を付与し,分子レベルの共有結合の本質解明に寄与することを目的とする。具体的には「フレキシブルσ結合の伸縮性に基づく未踏電子物性の追究」及び「フレキシブルπ結合の切断性/構造変換に基づく機能探究」の二つの課題を遂行することで,基礎/応用科学の双方の発展を目指す。
