Research Abstract

心因性発熱は代表的な心身症である。近年、ラットを用いて急性ストレスによる性体温上昇反応(stress-induced hyperthermia, SIH)に関与する神経路は明らかになったが、心因性発熱患者の発熱機序については明らかではない。研究代表者らは、患者が発症時に暴露された慢性ストレスにより脳内でミクログリアの活性化、神経炎症が生じることが病態に関与するのではないかという仮説を立てた。本研究は、この仮説を動物実験で検証することを目的とする。さらにヒトの心因性発熱に褐色脂肪組織での熱産生が関与するかどうか、直接示した研究はない。本研究ではこの点を明らかにするための臨床研究も行う。
