Research Abstract

本研究では,各種希土類金属(Gd, Y, Dy等)板や箔を用いて申請者が開発した多段階精密酸化プロセスにより,希土類酸化物における酸素欠損量や生成サイトを制御する.それにより,RO(強磁性:酸素欠損有)/ R2O3(非磁性:欠損無)/ RO(強磁性:酸素欠損有)(R: 希土類金属,O: 酸素)がナノメートルオーダーにおいて配列した周期的構造層を創出し,単一材料における巨大磁気抵抗効果の発現を試みる.
