Research Abstract

本研究課題では、エネルギー代謝におけるクエン酸回路逸脱経路、すなわちAcod1 発現・IA産生機構とその生理的意義、病態への関与を追究し、クエン酸回路逸脱経路の存在意義の全貌を明らかにすることで、生体がもつ新規エネルギー代謝経路を発掘し、エネルギー代謝異常におけるAcod1やIAの医薬応用への展開に挑む。
