Research Abstract

半導体材料であるシリコン―ゲルマニウム合金について、結晶多形である非ダイヤモンド結晶構造群を創製し、新奇物性の解明により、環境や人体に優しい高効率光-電気変換素子や熱電素子応用を目指す。高輝度X線回折、インデンテーションによる高圧相変態・多形生成挙動解明、高圧ねじり加工法による多形相図とバルク結晶作製、理論計算による物性予測・新奇物性の解明からデバイス応用を追求する。
