Research Abstract

核融合炉の実現には、技術的進展のみならず社会的合意形成が不可欠であり、その過程において、放射性物質である燃料トリチウムに関する研究は重要な役割を担う。中でも公衆へ影響を及ぼし得る環境中トリチウム挙動に関する社会の関心は高まっており、実験データに基づいてトリチウム動態を予測し、そのリスクと安全対策について科学的視点から説明することが求められている。本研究では、生物学的影響が大きい有機結合型トリチウムに注目し、食用植物内でのトリチウムの輸送・蓄積・排出速度の定量的把握を目指す。
