Abstract
Pole-Figures and orientation functions of cellulose in Pinus denstflora were measured. By semi-quantitatively evaluating the crystal data a valid model for cellulose crystallite orientation was proposed, which gives a plausible answer to explain the mechanical properties of the opposite wood of Pinus densiflora.
