説明

On two-dimensional flows around a rectangular cylinder put in the paralle1 plane side-wall channel,we discuss on the basis of the difference numerical analysis of flow fields and the flow visualization experiment. it is shown that flow fields around a rectangular cylinder depend on Reynolds number of flow,the aspect ratio of cylinder and the cylinder disposition and become complex ones including the wake vortex region. Besides,we present that the difference numerical method is useful for the clarifica- tion of such flow fields and offers valuable data on flow patterns,velocity components and pressure distributions.
