在日外国人少年の安全教育および非行防止を目的とした学習イベントを実践し評価した。在日外国人少年は、同世代の日本人との接点が少なく、危険因子が多く存在する外国人コミュニティのみで生活することが多いため、今回のイベントでは日本人生徒とのグループ活動に主眼を置いた。具体的には、事前の調査によって判明した知識不足を補うための安全マップ学習に加えて、異文化料理体験、スポーツ体験を実施した。その結果、コミュニケーションを取る難しさや楽しさを感じながらも、双方の異文化理解が高まる様子がうかがえた。一方で、イベント内容に対する課題もいくつか指摘され、今後のイベント実施への多くの知見を得ることができた。

We practiced and evaluated training events aimed at safety education and prevention of delinquency among foreign children in Japan. Foreign nationals living in Japan often live only in the foreign community with few communication with Japanese of the same generation, where there are many risk factors, so this event is mainly focusing on group activities with Japanese students. Specifically, in addition to studying safety maps aimed at compensation of the lack of knowledge found in prior investigation, we conducted intercultural cooking experiences and sports experiences. As a result, we got the impression that kids are improving their intercultural understanding while still feeling the difficulty and enjoyment of communication. On the other hand, some challenges related to the contents of that event were also pointed out, and we were able to obtain a lot of knowledge for the future event implementation.
