Description
The Japanese history on food education is overviewed in this paper. Although many preceding studies of educational practice implemented already, the survey is revealed that various practices are needed yet. The authors performed two practices of food education under the area cooperation between Junior College of Asahikwa University and Nagayama Higashi Elementary School. The college students guided the second-year students of the elementary school in cooking training, the 3rd-year students through cultivation to cooking training. In the results, these practices of area cooperation are effective in food education, and they should be necessity to continuing.
