Description
type:論文
Since 1960s researchers of the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia have been studying cases of the reincarnation type (children who claim to have past-life memories), and over 2,600 case data have been collected from all over the world. However, no case report of Japanese children with past-life memories had been reported in the academic literature until 2010, when, with the help of Dr. Ikegawa Akira, the present author investigated a case of a Japanese boy who claimed to have been a son of Scottish parents who owned a restaurant, the results of the investigation of which were published in 2011 in the Mind-Body Science journal in Japanese and in 2013 in the Journal of the Society for Scientific Exploration in English. Ever since the present author has been investigating many cases of the reincarnation type found in Japan. As argued in Ohkado & Ikegawa (2014) and Ohkado(2015), cases of the reincarnation type can be regarded as one type of a larger group of children with pre- and perinatal memories and they should be investigated as such. In this paper, from such a perspective, three cases with children claiming to have pre- and peri-natal memories will be reported.
