平成26 年度に実施した大学COC 事業「空間デザイン研究」の実施概要を報告する。この事業は建築系（空間デザイン・建築構造・光環境・音環境）、情報フロンティア系（メディア情報・情報デザイン）、電気系（電気制御）、機械系（形状加工・生産）の学生や教員が専門横断的に融合し、地域ニーズに合わせた空間デザインを制作・設置し、地域活性化を図る活動である。その概要について、専門融合におけるデザイン制作、地域連携、産学連携、参加学生の成長等の視点から解説し、本事業の意義や発展性について述べる。;This paper shows COC project in K.I.T. “Study of Space Design”. The students and faculty in Dpt. of Architectural Design, Architecture, Media informatics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering participate in this project. We have collaborated to make space design for the activation of the regions in the center of Kanazawa by cooperating between each professions. In this paper these activities are described from the points of view of space and media design, collaborations with regional people and industries, and growth of students through this project.
