説明

In this paper, in order to clarify the cause of “medical tourism” among Chinese tourists, which has been increasing in recent years, we analyzed the differences between Japan-China medical systems and services. Lancet, one of the world’s leading academic journals of medicine, announced a health care quality ranking in 195 countries on May 23, 2018, with Japan ranked 12th behind Western Europe’s small Nordic countries. In terms of medical quality, Japan has the second highest score after Sweden. Taking into account factors such as population and society of small countries in northwestern Europe, measured by factors such as the size of the same population and social conditions, Japan’s healthcare is arguably the highest in the world. As evidence, Japan has recently been ranked number one in the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global medical rating. Comprehensive comparative aspects such as “level of medical care”, “difficulty of receiving medical care”, “fairness of medical expenses” from the latest report of the World Health Organization (WHO) In Japan’s medical system, where “high quality medical service”, “low medical burden” and “life expectancy of the people” are high, Japan is ranked first in Europe and America, and China is 64th. As you can see, there are many differences between the Chinese and Japanese medical systems and services, and China has many problems. Therefore, the attitude of Chinese tourists seems to have changed from “shopping” to “medical tourism” in recent years.
