This paper introduces the production process on the theme of “Fusion of Japanese Traditional Cultureand its Modern Art,' in which the author has been engaged.　New paintings on “fusuma” or traditional Japanese sliding doors were produced and exhibited in September 2016 for the study of Chibakejutaku or the Chiba family house designated as an important cultural property in Kaita-cho in Hiroshima Prefecture.　This paper aims at the creation of a new “beauty of Japan” through this production.
