Ichnofacies revealed that the paleoenvironment of the Shuku Tuff Member in the Komegawaki Formation is the Cruziana ichnofacies from the lower shoreface to the inner shelf zone. The ichnofacies contained seven ichnospecies such as Conichnus conicus, Cylindrichnus concentricus, Paleophycus haberti, Phycosiphon incertum, Rosselia socialis, Teichichnus isp. and Thalassinoides isp.
