The experimental speed of sound and density of ternary mixtures were used to compute isentropic compressibility (ḱs123) and the quantity Δks123, the difference between measured value and that computed from the constituent binary data. Further, the experimental ternary excess volume data were compared with calculated data obtained by empirical relations proposed by Redlich–Kister, Kohler, Tsao–Smith, and Hwang.
