The chloride reacted with 1-(1-morpholino)- and 1-(1-piperidino)cyclohexene in the presence of triethylamine, affording the corresponding acyclic sulfones. On the other hand, the reaction of the chloride with 1-(1-pyrrolidinyl)cyclohexene gave 2-benzoylmethanesuIfonylcyclohexanone and 2,3-dibenzoyl-2,3,4,5,6,7-hexahydrothianaphthene 1,1-dioxide.
