These complex salts are darkcolored, almost black in many cases, and show electronic absorptions extending into the rock-salt region. In addition, bluish green-colored simple salts could be isolated with a few cations. The complex salts exhibit electrical resistivities in orders from 10 to 104 ohm cm at room temperature. Neither the pattern due to the quinone molecule nor that due to the semiquinone ion is present in their vibrational spectra. A single carbonyl stretching vibration band appears around 1600 cm−1, intermediate between that in the quinone and that in the semiquinone salt.
"}]}],"creator":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1581135652746370688","@type":"Researcher","personIdentifier":[{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000020378423"}],"foaf:name":[{"@value":"Yoshio Matsunaga"}],"jpcoar:affiliationName":[{"@value":"Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1581135652746370689","@type":"Researcher","personIdentifier":[{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000020378427"}],"foaf:name":[{"@value":"Yoshihiro Narita"}],"jpcoar:affiliationName":[{"@value":"Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University"}]}],"publication":{"publicationIdentifier":[{"@type":"PISSN","@value":"00092673"},{"@type":"EISSN","@value":"13480634"}],"prism:publicationName":[{"@value":"Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan"}],"dc:publisher":[{"@value":"Oxford University Press (OUP)"}],"prism:publicationDate":"1972-02-01","prism:volume":"45","prism:number":"2","prism:startingPage":"408","prism:endingPage":"414"},"reviewed":"false","dcterms:accessRights":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2","dc:rights":["https://academic.oup.com/pages/standard-publication-reuse-rights"],"url":[{"@id":"https://academic.oup.com/bcsj/article-pdf/45/2/408/55697102/bcsj.45.408.pdf"}],"createdAt":"2006-07-20","modifiedAt":"2024-01-17","relatedProduct":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360002219098787456","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Diffuse Reflection Spectra of Some Würster Salts"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360002219098848512","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"The Temperature Dependence of Absorption Spectra of Cation Radicals of Benzidine and N,N,N′,N′-Tetramethyl-benzidine and Their Dimerization in Solution"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360002219099135488","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Effects of Iodine Addition on the Electrical and Optical Properties of the Semiquinoid Phenothiazine Bromide"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360002219100013312","@type":"Article","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"The Cation-radical Salts Derived from Benzo- and Dibenzo-phenothiazines"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360283694075761536","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Electronic Spectra of Crystalline TCNQ Anion Radical Salts.
