Completed studies were identified through PubMed and CINAHL. Studies that identified Resilience Scale scores, sample descriptions, and tested relationships between the Resilience Scale and study variables were selected for inclusion. Cronbach’s alpha coefficients ranged from .72 to .94 supporting the internal consistency reliability of the Resilience Scale. Hypothesized relationships between the Resilience Scale and study variables (e.g., forgiveness, stress, anxiety, health promoting activities) were supported strengthening the evidence for construct validity of the Resilience Scale. In the studies reported here, the Resilience Scale has been used with a variety of individuals of different ages, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds. The Resilience Scale has performed as a reliable and valid tool to measure resilience and has been used with a wide range of study populations.
"}]}],"creator":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1382825894899214720","@type":"Researcher","foaf:name":[{"@value":"Gail Wagnild"}]}],"publication":{"publicationIdentifier":[{"@type":"PISSN","@value":"10613749"},{"@type":"EISSN","@value":"19457049"}],"prism:publicationName":[{"@value":"Journal of Nursing Measurement"}],"dc:publisher":[{"@value":"Springer Publishing Company"}],"prism:publicationDate":"2009-08","prism:volume":"17","prism:number":"2","prism:startingPage":"105","prism:endingPage":"113"},"reviewed":"false","url":[{"@id":"https://syndication.highwire.org/content/doi/10.1891/1061-3749.17.2.105"}],"createdAt":"2009-08-01","modifiedAt":"2019-09-17","relatedProduct":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360565166062765440","@type":"Article","resourceType":"学術雑誌論文(journal article)","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Resilience and Big Five personality traits: A meta-analysis"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360576118703882752","@type":"Article","resourceType":"学術雑誌論文(journal article)","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Association between resilience and cortical thickness in the posterior cingulate cortex and the temporal pole in Japanese older people: A population-based cross-sectional study"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360580232148992768","@type":"Article","resourceType":"学術雑誌論文(journal article)","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Association of sense of coherence and resilience with distress and infection prevention behaviors during the coronavirus disease pandemic"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360580232158281856","@type":"Article","resourceType":"学術雑誌論文(journal article)","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Do personal resilience, coping styles, and social support prevent future psychological distress when experiencing workplace bullying?
