Cross-correlation analysis of sample records has shown that the horizontal trace velocity is a decreasing function of the period of fluctuations in the range 13.3–40 min. The theoretical dispersion of the atmospheric gravity waves is also calculated using   Klostermeyer 's (1974)  method. Comparison between the observed and the calculated results suggests the possibility that the components of the lower period of the observed velocity dispersion may be a remnant of the quasi-evanescent mode pertinent to lower-height levels."}]}],"creator":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1383670319970062721","@type":"Researcher","foaf:name":[{"@value":"Takashi Shibata"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1383670319970062720","@type":"Researcher","foaf:name":[{"@value":"Takashi Okuzawa"}]}],"publication":{"publicationIdentifier":[{"@type":"PISSN","@value":"00219169"}],"prism:publicationName":[{"@value":"Journal of Atmospheric and Terrestrial Physics"}],"dc:publisher":[{"@value":"Elsevier BV"}],"prism:publicationDate":"1983-02","prism:volume":"45","prism:number":"2-3","prism:startingPage":"149","prism:endingPage":"159"},"reviewed":"false","dc:rights":["https://www.elsevier.com/tdm/userlicense/1.0/","https://www.elsevier.com/legal/tdmrep-license"],"url":[{"@id":"https://api.elsevier.com/content/article/PII:S0021916983800191?httpAccept=text/xml"},{"@id":"https://api.elsevier.com/content/article/PII:S0021916983800191?httpAccept=text/plain"}],"createdAt":"2006-08-03","modifiedAt":"2025-09-18","relatedProduct":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1390001206511958016","@type":"Article","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@language":"en","@value":"Observations and modeling of 630 nm airglow and total electron content associated with traveling ionospheric disturbances over Shigaraki, Japan"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/2050588892106660864","@type":"Article","resourceType":"学術雑誌論文(journal article)","relationType":["isReferencedBy"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Software-defined radio-based HF doppler receiving system"}]}],"dataSourceIdentifier":[{"@type":"CROSSREF","@value":"10.1016/s0021-9169(83)80019-1"},{"@type":"OPENAIRE","@value":"doi_dedup___::eaec95c6df8d1273ce7613f5e2cc2ac9"},{"@type":"CROSSREF","@value":"10.1186/bf03352420_references_DOI_Y9cx3rABSLgtUzGlQfM7IcmZ7Jf"},{"@type":"CROSSREF","@value":"10.1186/s40623-021-01547-5_references_DOI_Y9cx3rABSLgtUzGlQfM7IcmZ7Jf"}]}
