Description
The polycondensation reaction of terephthalic acid (TPA) with ethylene glycole (EG) catalyzed by Sb2O3, or Ge03 were investigated.<BR>The reaction rate depends on the R value which is described as follow:<BR>P: ester value.<BR>G: the moler ratios of EG and TPA is feed.<BR>It was also found that the compounds of Sn and Pb were effective as co-catalysts in the polycondensation reaction catalyzed by Sb202
