The following characteristics can be drawn by analyzing the patterns of embroidery in the region of Jiangyong. (1) The patterns of Jiangyong embroidery is developed from nearby living environment. (2) Not only living environment, but also immortals and imaginary creatures, could be seen in Jiangyong embroidery. Women elaborate female imagination and wisdoms to form a unique view of the world in Jiangyong. (3) By means of creating patterns of local celebrities, Womanese and so on, the embroidery in Jiangyong popularizes and promotes all kinds of knowledge. (4) In addition to be used physically in daily life, the needlework supplies also occupy a pivotal position in festivals, worship and other non-daily life. (5)The virtue of a woman could also be reflected. In the locality, by exchanging needlework supplies, the social communication and interflow is promoted deeply.
