Description
The inverse source problem for two-dimentional Poisson equation is discussed. As the source term, we consider some point sources whose locations are bounded in suitable regions. This paper gives a numerical method to identify locations of these point sources. We apply the weighted residual expression using harmonic functions as weighting functions and reduce existance fegions of point sources. The convergence of our method is also considered. Finally, the effectiveness of our method is demonstrated by numerical examples.
