Abstract
This is a report from experimental classes of a new method of teaching verbs. In the classes, students were asked what kinds of words co-occured with the verbs in order to categorize them. The method is expected to promote understanding of the meanings and the appropriate co-occurrences of the verbs and was proven effective through extensive research. The students participated very actively in the classes and gave positive feedback on them. Through these experiments, the method showed to have potential. The students also gave suggestions about how to successfully execute the method in actual classes.
