Abstract
We prepared the composite of thermoelectric materials obtained by mixing Bi_<0.4>Te_<3.0>Sb_<1.6> and ionic liquids. Micro particles of Bi_<0.4>Te_<3.0>Sb_<1.6> were prepared by a ball milling. The average diameter of the particles was less than 5 μm. The composite materials were sintered by a hot press at 200 〜 300 ℃ to fabricate the thermoelectric bulk material. Thermal conductivity was reduced to 20 % of the bulk value of bismuth telluride by mixing ionic liquid, although ZT was only 0.18 due to its low electrical conductivity.
