We examined the effects of DnaK2 and DnaJ2 on RNase E activity by monitoring the digestion of <I>psbAII</I> transcript <I>in vitro.</I> The addition of DnaK2 and DnaJ2 obviously inhibited RNase E activity in an ATP-dependent manner.
