Some properties of NBR vulcanized with 2-antioxidant groups-4, 6-bis(4-morpholinyltrithio) 1, 3, 5-triazine (vulcanizing antioxidants) were investigated. Antioxidants bound in NBR were effective for the aging resistance of NBR vulcanizates extracted with solvents and of a high temperature. In order to obtain same effect to isopropyl diphenylamine for thermal aging resistance at 130°C, it was necessary to introduce triple the molar quantity of antioxidant groups into NBR molecule. The kind of vulcanizing antioxidants has a significant effect on the thermal aging resistance of NBR vulcanizates, and they gave NBR vulcanizates with excellent thermal aging resistance in order to antioxidant groups: -NHC6H2(C(CH3)3)OH<-N(C6H5) C6H4NHC6H5<-CH(CH3)2NC6H4NHC6H5<-NHC6H4NHC6H5. Antioxidant bound NBR vulcanizates had an excellent complex aging resistance, indicating the similar tendency to the results described above. Vulcanzing antioxidants gave NBR vulcanizates admirable to sour gasoline aging resistance which increases with an increase in these concentration. The NBR vulcanizates after extraction with solvents were superior to that before extraction for sour gasoline aging resistance. The kind of antioxidants and the structure of crosslinkage also had an effect on the sour gasoline aging resistance.
