Description
<p> In August 2016, the tributaries of Tokoro River had a levee breach caused by the backwater of Tokoro River. This study aims to clarify the following point, the effect of backwater on levee breach processes by using a numerical model to simulate levee breaches. The results of the simulation are as follows : river width and normal flow affect mechanism of widening of the levee breach opening.</p>
