Description
<p>A patient with right traumatic shoulder arthritis who had difficulty in reaching to the contralateral side wasevaluated with a focus on scapular alignment. Observation suggested that compensatory scapular flexion inthe ligature movement was unfavorable for the contralateral reaching movement. Physical therapy aimed atincreasing scapular extension enabled the patient to reach the left lumbar back and improved the patient'sability to tie a kimono obi.</p>
