Description
This paper focuses on an example of creating new technology using a novel needle-free bubble injector through several research projects. After introducing the needle-free injector as an individual research project, it was then employed in cross-disciplinary research projects such as JST CREST and Moonshot. The Moonshot R&D program is a research initiative linked to the Moonshot goals outlined in the 5th Science and Technology Innovation Basic Plan by the Japanese Cabinet Office. This project aims to create a society where the internal environment of individuals’ bodies is monitored remotely at the cellular level. To enhance the performance of the human immune system, we plan to develop intracellular cybernetic avatars (hereinafter referred to as intracellular CAs), which can be controlled remotely to monitor citizens’ health.
