<p>We need to plot business and IP strategies with considering an additional value, not only high functional value, especially in mature markets. This study focuses on a “KANSEI value (emotional value)” designed by designers as the additional value, through the information analysis of patent information and customer review information. The analysis fields, an electric fan and a microwave, are decided based on the history of the Japan’s Good Design Award. Furthermore, this study investigates a kind of strategic methodology with consideration of design and KANSEI value.</p>
