We found no organic ocular disease, but found a spiral field after our examination, leading us to a diagnosis of psychogenic visual disturbance. His visual acuity was improved to 1.2 not only in his non-amblyopic eye but also in his amblyopic eye after stopping the occlusion therapy.<br>It is well known that the occlusion therapy is very stressful for amblyopic children. If a psychogenic visual disturbance occur during the therapy like this case, we may make a wrong diagnosis for the effect of the treatment of amblyopia.
