In atopic dermatitis, T cells play an important role in the development of cutaneous inflammation. In order to elucidate whether sIL-2R is a good marker for atopic dermatitis, we analyzed the correlation between the clinical severity and several laboratory markers including the white blood cell count, the percentage of eosinophils, the eosinophil count, LDH, slL-2R and IgE. Severity most closely correlated with the LDH levels in AD patients over 6 years of age (rs=0.639). The sIL-2R levels also correlated well with severity (rs=0.516). The changes in the sIL-2R levels between remission and aggravation of the disease also correlated with the severity and was also closely equal to the change in LDH (rs=0.827, 0.825). sIL-2R was not specific for AD, since the levels of patients with psoriasis and chronic eczema, especially those in erythroderma, were markedly high. There was a negative correlation between sIL-2R and age in patients below the age of 60. IgE did not correlate with the severity of AD. Therefore, sIL-2R is not specific for atopic patients, however, the sIL-2R level can be useful as a marker for establishing the clinical severity of the disease."},{"@language":"ja","@value":"血清中のsIL-2R濃度は, <I>in vivo</I>のT cellの活性化状態を知る指標であり,T cellの関与する種々の疾患における重症度の指標となりうる可能性が考えられる。 }],"abstractLicenseFlag":"disallow"}],"creator":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1030285133344439424","@type":"Researcher","personIdentifier":[{"@type":"KAKEN_RESEARCHERS","@value":"30251060"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"1000030251060"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257941549"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000006222494"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257933520"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000383069394"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257939226"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000015298498"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000345199036"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257936461"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000259843624"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000399499826"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000259850632"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257938189"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000254962856"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000265251578"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257932641"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000256580994"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000259843554"}],"foaf:name":[{"@language":"en","@value":"IIJIMA Shigeruko"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"飯島 茂子"}],"jpcoar:affiliationName":[{"@language":"en","@value":"Division of Dermatology, Mito Saiseikai General Hospital"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"水戸済生会総合病院皮膚科"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1410282679277109632","@type":"Researcher","personIdentifier":[{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000001937316"},{"@type":"NRID","@value":"9000257938190"}],"foaf:name":[{"@language":"en","@value":"TATEISHI Yumie"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"立石 優美絵"}],"jpcoar:affiliationName":[{"@language":"en","@value":"Division of Dermatology, Mito Saiseikai General Hospital"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"水戸済生会総合病院皮膚科"}]}],"publication":{"publicationIdentifier":[{"@type":"PISSN","@value":"03869784"},{"@type":"LISSN","@value":"03869784"},{"@type":"EISSN","@value":"18804047"},{"@type":"NCID","@value":"AN00183881"}],"prism:publicationName":[{"@language":"en","@value":"The Nishinihon Journal of Dermatology"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"西日本皮膚科"},{"@language":"en","@value":"Nishinihon J Dermatol"},{"@language":"en","@value":"Nishi Nihon Hifuka"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"西日皮膚"}],"dc:publisher":[{"@language":"en","@value":"Western Division of Japanese Dermatological Association"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"日本皮膚科学会西部支部"}],"prism:publicationDate":"2001","prism:volume":"63","prism:number":"3","prism:startingPage":"290","prism:endingPage":"295"},"reviewed":"false","url":[{"@id":"https://search.jamas.or.jp/link/ui/2001278928"}],"availableAt":"2001","foaf:topic":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/all?q=Dermatology","dc:title":"Dermatology"}],"relatedProduct":[{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360016870027487616","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Soluble interleukin 2 receptors are released from activated human lymphoid cells in vitro."}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360292620874263808","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Serum soluble IL-2 receptor (sIL-2R) and eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) levels in atopic dermatitis"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360574094300446080","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Association of Immunological Changes with Clinical Efficacy in Atopic Eczema Patients Treated with Traditional Chinese Herbal Therapy (Zemaphyte®)"}]},{"@id":"https://cir.nii.ac.jp/crid/1360581246213634304","@type":"Article","relationType":["references"],"jpcoar:relatedTitle":[{"@value":"Production of interleukin-2 by mononuclear cells in vitro in patients with atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.
