Therefore, JRJI prepared the performance evaluation standard for Class-A joints to be applied to all joining methods, established four basic performance attributes (configuration, strength, rigidity, and toughness) that a rebar joint should possess, and defined the performance verification test method and the criteria for the test results with regard to each attribute.
