TBM is a kind of the Commutatorless Machine with poly-phase inverter, and is controlled by firing angle on direction of motion and of power flow. The four quadrant operation control system of TBM is established only by a six pulse rectifire circuit and TBM.<BR>This paper presents the fundamentals of construction of the seven phase TBM system. An experimental control system is made by digital elements, and composed of convertor control and inverter control circuit. Four quadrant operation control sequence and argorism are introduced.
