Description

We irradiated the adult dog's stomach, using a micro-rod and micro-tip developed recently for laser endoscopy. Furthermore, with the use of a surgical rod, the liver and the spleen were separated, and their changes were investigated by macroscopic and histological observations on the day of separation and one week later. As a result, the surgical probe tried by us was found to produce a satisfactory therapeutic effect with lower energy and a wider spectrum of light, in comparison with the non-contact surgical probe used so far.
