Description
The compactness supported by the public transport will be the new key word of the future development, so that the planning around the railway cross point is getting to be more important than ever. This study aims to analyze the situation of zoning designated around the railway cross point in Tokyo metropolitan suburban area and show the relationship between the passenger volume of the railway cross point and the floor-area ratio designated around the station And we make it clear that the passenger volume has been influenced by not only the floor-area ratio but also the transfer passenger volume of railways.
