Description
Three-dimensional shapes measurement system using optical patterns projection has been developed. The system is composed of an optical spatial modulator from which grating patterns are projected on the surface of the object, a turn table, a CCD camera, and a computer. The patterns on the surface of the object were taken into the computer by the CCD camera, and the 3D coordinate of the surface of the object was calculated using triangulation method. Circumference information of three dimensional shapes is observed using turn table. By using the circumference measurement system, the measurement area and accuracy are improved.
