Description

A “delay" means that output occurs behind the inputs, and is often linked with process lead-times in studies of supply chain dynamics. However, from the holistic system point of view, including decision processes of supply chain management (SCM), considering the concept of “delay" in a broader sense could enable analysis of the decision process's impact on the entire supply chain system as well as of the interaction of order flows with physical flows. This study attempts to identify this additional “delay" structure in a supply chain system through SCM gaming data analysis.
