本プロジェクトは,2005年度に実施された,テフラ観察ブログシステムの試験的な運用を,本格的に協同的な学習実践に結びつけ,そこに研究者のアウトリーチ活動を取り入れることを目的とした研究である.参加する実践校は,宮崎県2校,愛媛県1校,そして兵庫県の本校である.この4校間で中学生がテフラの採取・観察を研究者の協力を得ながら実施し,そこで得た知識の情報交流を行うことで,テフラに関する知識理解を深めようとするものである.
