Description
<p>This study aims to analyze viral loads in the nasal cavity and nasopharynx (NC-NP) of humans and rhesus macaques over time. Using computational fluid dynamics-host cell dynamics (CFD-HCD) and three-dimensional NC-NP models, the impact of virus-laden droplets on SARS-CoV-2 progression is investigated. Model parameters are calibrated with experimental data to simulate and visualize viral load dynamics.</p>
