Abstract
Ion-solid interactions are the foundation that underlies the numerous applications in the science and engineering fields. Rare gas solids are interesting materials for investigating the mechanism of the interactions because of their simplicity and because their electronic structures resemble those of isolated atoms. In this article, we introduce the results for the observation of the desorbed spices from solid Ne by low energy Ar^<g+> ion (q = 1-7) impact.
