Abstract
Sediment core of 40cm long was taken using a gravity corer at 43°30'N, 14°20'E in Ishikari Bay, Hokkaido. Sedimentation rate was determined to be 0.58g/cm^2/yr by Cs-137. Organic materials having Org. C/Org. N ratio of 20 were accumulated at 11.5-29.5cm depth. C-14 age of this organic material was about 10,000yrs and hydrogen peroxides soluble Fe, Cu, Zn and Cr were found in the layer. These metals were transported into Ishikari Bay with the old-organic material. Upper 11.5cm, Org. C/Org. N ratio decreased to 10-15.
