抄録

本研究は、戦後当初のわが国において、コア・カリキュラムおよび生活教育が模索された時期を中心に、その影響下での国語科教育（作文・綴り方教育）がどのようなものであったのかを明らかにしようとする。これまで、戦後の国語科教育（作文・綴り方教育）は、1950（昭和25）年を境に復興・興隆したとされるのが一般的であった。しかし、具体的な復興・興隆の以前に、その土壌あるいは萌芽ともいえるものが何らかの形であったのではないか。そのような仮説のもとに、コア・カリキュラムおよび生活教育の模索期における国語科教育（作文・綴り方教育）が持つ内容・方法・特質等を考察した。

In this study, an attempt will be made to investigate what Japanese Language Education (writing and composition teaching) was like in the initial post-war period of Japan, when the concepts of core curriculum and life education were being conceived and explored. Although it has been commonly believed that the year 1950 witnessed the revival of post-war Japanese Language Education, this study hypothesizes that a precursor to it can be seen much earlier. It also attempts to investigate the content, method, and charactreistics of Japanese Language Education in the exploratory phase of the core curriculum and life education.
